QUALITY PYRAMIDS
WINE QUALITY YOU CAN SEE.
To enable easy orientation through our variety of wines, the range is divided into four different quality classifications. According to the motto “wine quality you can see,” every quality level is represented with a certain number of our “ERBELDINGER TRÄUBCHEN.”
Starting with our 1.0 l basic wines that have two “ERBELDINGER TRÄUBCHEN” to first-class, high-quality wines of a vintage, our so-called “flagships” of the Premium Edition with five “ERBELDINGER TRÄUBCHEN”.
The strong center of our range is reserved for the “GUT and EDITION S&R” wines, each with three and four “ERBELDINGER TRÄUBCHEN” respectively

PREMIUM EDITION
Our FLAGSHIPS
This line is made up of wines that have grown in the best vineyard locations.
Yields are limited by our winery to a maximum of 40 hl/ha. They are harvested in two or three selective harvestings by our harvest team – selectively picked 100% by hand. Time plays an important role here too – our wines our given the time they need to reach optimal maturity.
The wines from this collection are strongly influenced by their origin. They rank among Germany’s and the world’s best wines.
EDITION S&R
The strong CENTER
The Edition wines are our selected and special high-class quality wines. They represent the strong center of our range.
Yield reduction, selective harvesting, uncompromising quality-driven maturation in the cellar and, most importantly, the meticulous selection of wines by the two experts “Sebastian” and “Ralf” – hence the letters in the name “Edition S&R” – are the basic requirements this line of wines must meet.
The grapes all come from parcels owned by the winery around Bechtheim.
ESTATE WINES
Good from the ground up
Our estate wines are the perfect introduction to our four-stage quality hierarchy.
The clear ways of maturing make them perfect for uncomplicated drinking pleasure.
They are made from all dispersed parcels owned by the winery and only bear our wine-growing area as their designation of origin. With white as well as red wines, the focus is on straightforwardness, varietal character and lightness.
BASIC WINES
The BASIS of our work
The base of our range includes four uncomplicated and simple wines in 1.0-liter bottles.
They are also called “bread and butter” wines and are perfect for a refreshing spritzer in the summer.
